Since you haven&amp;#39;t upgraded in ages, you were probably running Qt 4.3.1 or something, and since then, a lot has changed. These logs seem to indicate that QT 4.5.1 is required, which means a whole bunch of chained dependencies. Another problem is that somewhere along the way, Trolltech (makers of QT) got bought my Nokia, and as a result, I don&amp;#39;t think the libraries are available for download anymore, on their site. I don&amp;#39;t see a pain-free upgrade, unless you want to dig deep and resolve dependencies manually. Its probably not worth the effort anyway :-)</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8026726330557031/8503311595008284991/comments/default/1546668862358485026'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8026726330557031/8503311595008284991/comments/default/1546668862358485026'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://tech.element77.com/2009/10/gentoo-and-kde.html?showComment=1256878045588#c1546668862358485026' title=''/><author><name>Brat</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/13263136046708826562</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://tech.element77.com/2009/10/gentoo-and-kde.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8026726330557031.post-8503311595008284991' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8026726330557031/posts/default/8503311595008284991' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
